Layla was founded in Milan in 1936, and since 1952 has been producing its iconic cosmetics at its headquarters in Via dei Pestegalli 21.
Its founder, Emanuele Rossetti, imported new trends from the United States, and above all, the basis for the artisanal production of nail polishes. Layla soon became the emblem of nail polish in Italy, and even today it is synonymous with quality and innovation, and a symbol of Made in Italy worldwide.
A leader in the production of semi-permanent nail polish, Layla is present on the market with more than 2500 products handcrafted in its Milanese laboratories and is distributed in more than 3,500 prestigious retail and professional points of sale.
